EPL: Amad Endorses Carrick For Permanent Man United Role

Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has publicly endorsed interim manager Michael Carrick for the permanent role, following a resurgence in the club’s form under his leadership.

Carrick assumed control in January after the departure of Ruben Amorim and has since guided the team through a notable improvement in results.

United have secured seven victories and suffered only one loss in their last 10 matches, boosting their hopes of returning to the Champions League for the first time in two years.

The team requires four wins and a draw from their remaining seven games to confirm qualification.

Despite the positive momentum, the club’s leadership is taking a measured approach, opting to delay any decision on the managerial position until the season ends.

No official talks have been initiated with other candidates, while the list of available विकल्प continues to narrow.

According to BBC Sport, Diallo, speaking from United’s training base in the Republic of Ireland on Tuesday, expressed strong confidence in Carrick’s credentials.

“From a personal view, he’s the right man, he has a lot of experience, he understands the club and what it stands for.

His relationship with the players is very good, and sometimes that’s exactly what a team needs to get back to where it belongs,” Amad said.

He also acknowledged that the players will not determine the final outcome but highlighted the squad’s satisfaction with the current setup.

“It’s not up to us, but we’re really happy to have him,” he added.

Teammate Bryan Mbeumo echoed similar sentiments, crediting Carrick’s communication style and familiarity with the club environment as key factors behind the team’s improved displays.

“We’ve had a really good experience with him,” Mbeumo said. “He knows how to talk to the players and get the best out of us.

It’s been easier because he already understands the environment. It’s been great working with him.”

While such backing from players is not unusual, United’s recent performances suggest a strong bond between Carrick and the squad—an element that could weigh into the club’s final decision at the end of the campaign.
