Denmark national team doctor, Christian Eriksen, is recovering well and could be discharged from hospital in the coming days, according to the team’s medical staff.
Providing an update on the midfielder’s condition, team doctor Morten Boesen revealed that he spoke with Eriksen on Friday morning and was encouraged by his progress.
“I spoke with Christian this morning, and he is doing well,” Boesen said. “He is with his family and in good spirits.”

The doctor added that medical personnel are optimistic about Eriksen’s recovery, noting that the player is expected to leave hospital soon and return home to continue his recuperation.
“The expectation is that he will be discharged soon and can return home,” Boesen stated.
