The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has terminated the appointment of Online Integrated Solutions (OIS Services) as the operator of Nigeria’s Visa Application and Submission Centres across the United States.
The development was announced in a public notice released on the service’s official X handle on Thursday, informing prospective travellers and Nigerians living in the US that the decision takes immediate effect.
According to the NIS, OIS Services will no longer collect or submit visa applications on behalf of Nigerian diplomatic missions in the United States.
The agency directed all applicants seeking Nigerian visas to submit their applications directly at the Embassy of Nigeria in Washington, D.C., or the Nigerian Consulates in New York and Atlanta until further notice.

The Consulate General of Nigeria in New York also confirmed the change on its official website, stating that OIS had ceased handling visa application collection and submission for the mission.
Before the disengagement, OIS Services managed visa application centres for Nigerian missions in several American cities, including Washington, D.C., Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles and New Jersey. The company was responsible for services such as biometric enrolment and document submission for visa applicants.
The immigration service, however, did not disclose the reason behind the termination of OIS Services’ appointment, while Nigerian missions in the United States have yet to provide further clarification on the decision.
