President Bola Tinubu has assured local and foreign investors that Nigeria remains a secure destination for investment, saying his administration is committed to protecting businesses and creating an environment where private enterprise can flourish.
The President gave the assurance on Thursday, July 16, during the launch of the Sales Office and Experience Centre for the Abuja City Walk Development, one of the projects marking the third anniversary of his administration.
Vice President Kashim Shettima represented Tinubu at the event.
The President said the Federal Government was putting in place policies and infrastructure that would encourage investment in commerce, medical tourism and luxury hospitality while removing obstacles that discourage investors.
“Through this development, we are pushing the boundaries engineering possibility in Africa. This magnificent project also underscores the conviction that sustainable development can’t be carried out by the government alone.
“The Abuja City Walk is a shining example of what can be achieved when political will meets private sector expertise,” Tinubu said.
He added that the project would stimulate economic activities and strengthen Abuja’s position as a commercial destination.
“By creating this corridor, we are laying down an environment for commerce, medical tourism, premium, and high end hospitality.
“Let me use this medium to assure both domestic and international investors that Nigeria is open for business and your businesses are safe.
