Federal Government on Tuesday extended the ongoing National Identification Number and Subscriber Identity Module integration exercise by eight weeks.
The FG’s announcement has therefore extended the new deadline to April 6, 2021.
Nigerian Communications Commission’s Director of Public Affairs, Ikechukwu Adinde, disclosed this, saying the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, conveyed the extension.
The minister conveyed the message during the meeting of the Ministerial Taskforce on NIN-SIM registration held on February 1, 2021.
