Convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari over Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency’s announcement on Thursday on the increase in the price of petrol.
The PPPRA fixed the lower band of the new fuel price at N209.61 per litre and the upper band at N212.61 per litre.
In a fierce reaction, Adeyanju who commented via his Twitter account described President Buhari as a ‘heartless’ president for increasing the fuel price to N212 per litre.
“Nigerian government hikes fuel price to N212 per litre. Change is here indeed. Buhari is just heartless,” he said.
Adeyanju also carpeted the National President of Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba.
He said that NLC has brought woes on the masses.
“You are the most useless NLC president in the history of Nigeria. Six fuel price increases, no single protest or mass action nationwide. A shame. Useless NLC will not do anything about the fuel price hike”, he said.
