Former President of the Nigerian Senate, Bukola Saraki has appealed to Nigerians to give the Peoples Democratic Party another chance in 2023 presidential election to lead the country.
He said that Nigerians should vote for the PDP to lead the country again and see the difference that would happen to the country.
Saraki made the plea in Asaba, Delta State capital, when he inaugurating some road projects and a primary school executed by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa-led PDP government of the state.
“The other day we were commissioning projects in…. It is in PDP states that you see their governors doing things and that is why we are telling Nigerians, give PDP a chance again and you will see the difference that would happen to the country,” Saraki said.
The PDP was in power for 16 years, from 1999 when democracy return to Nigeria till 2015 when its candidate and then-incumbent president, Goodluck Jonathan lost to President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress.
