National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has announced the emergency approval of Pfizer-BionTech COVID-19 vaccines for use in Nigeria.
The announcement was made at the agency’s headquarter in Lagos on Friday by the Director-General of the agency, Prof Mojisola Adeyeye.
Nigeria has been using AstraZeneca vaccine which is the most widely-used COVID-19 vaccine worldwide.
