GIFT ROBERTS

After beating Paris Saint Germaine 2-0 at the Etihad last night in the semifinal second leg to make 4-1 aggregate, Pep Guardiola now has his eyes fixed on lifting the Champions League trophy for the first time with Manchester City since he won the competition with Barcelona in 2011.

The victory over PSG was the first time Man City would qualify for the Champions League final in 51 years, since winning the cup winners cup in 1970.

Algerian star striker and African footballer of the year, Riyad Mahrez’s double secured a 2-0 win on the night for the Manchester club as PSG Angel Di Maria was sent off for a rough tackle on Fernandinho.

Guardiola and his boys look forward to facing either Chelsea or Real Madrid in the final on May 29 at Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.
