Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State Command, Mike Okoli, has said that his command is willing to continue to partner relevant security agencies in the state to reduce crime to the barest minimum.
Okoli stated this on Thursday when he played host to the Commander 16 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General OA Awolo, at the Police Command Headquarters, Yenagoa.
He reiterated that the ongoing joint operation in the state which had been yielding positive impact would be sustained.
He also assured the commander that the command would sustain and improve on the existing synergy between the command and the Brigade.
In his remarks, Awolo stated that it was traditional to visit sister security agencies upon arrival to familiarise himself and to sustain the existing cordial relationship between the command and the Brigade.
He expressed the readiness of the Brigade to support the Police as the lead agency in internal security whenever they are called upon.
