Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on Saturday joined June 12 protesters drawn from the 33 local government areas of the state in Ibadan.
The appearance of Makinde at the venue of the rally took protesters by surprise.
Makinde, who drove himself to the venue with little security, urged protesters to be civil in the presentation of their grievances to appropriate authorities.
The protesters are protesting against bad governance, insecurity, and against the Muhammadu Buhari administration.
