Adamawa gov re-shuffles cabinet

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri on Friday reshuffled his cabinet.

This was revealed in a statement by his Press Secretary, Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou, in Yola.

According to the statement, six commissioners were reshuffled in the exercise.

The former Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sanusi Jauro has been moved to the Ministry for Special Duties, while Mr Mohammed Umar, former Commissioner for Local Government Affairs has been redeployed to the Ministry of Land and Survey.

The statement read, ”Former Commissioner for Special Duties, Mr Alloysious Babadoke, has been moved to Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, while Mr Ibrahim Mijinyawa, has been moved to Ministry of Local Government Affairs as commissioner.

”Mr Umar Daware, former Commissioner for Tertiary and Professional Education, has been moved to Ministry of Agriculture, while Dr Dishi Khobe, was moved from the Ministry of Agriculture to the Ministry of Tertiary and Professional Education.”

The statement said that the development was targeted at improving the effectiveness of the government to the citizens.

“The redeployment and postings take immediate effect.

“Fintiri, while wishing them well in their new Ministries, directed them to hand over and move to their new postings without delay,” the statement added.
