…as lawmakers allegedly commence deputy gov’s impeachment
Scores of security operatives, on Tuesday, took over the complex of the Ondo State House of Assembly.
About 10 vehicles loaded with armed policemen and operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps were stationed at the gate to the Assembly complex as at Tuesday afternoon.
It was gathered that the security agents were deployed in the Assembly complex to give protection to the members of the Ondo House of Assembly said to be set to begin the process for the impeachment of the embattled Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi.
