A fire outbreak occurred on Monday night at the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Ikotun, Lagos.
The inferno, which gutted a store house in the church premises, was said to have started around 11 pm.
The incident occurred on the night of the candle procession in honour of the late founder of the Church, Prophet TB Joshua.
Members of the church, who had attended the night of tributes and candlelight procession in his honour, were shocked by the incident.
Firefighters were said to have arrived at the scene of the fire incident around 12:19 am on Tuesday.
But, according to eyewitnesses, the fire had been put out before the fire service men arrived at the church.
A church member, who pleaded anonymity, said, “An electrical spark at the control room caused the fire. It happened after the candlelight procession.”
SCOAN had already issued a statement confirming the fire outbreak, saying no casualty was recorded.
