The Executive Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Rivers State, David Rogers Irimagha, is dead.
Though the cause of his death could not be determined, sources said on Saturday that he died in his sleep.
“He was found dead in his sleep this morning”, a source, who spoke in confidence said adding that the entire council had been thrown into mourning.
The deceased was among the second term chairmen inaugurated in April 2021 after the local government election in the state.
