Concerns as gunmen kill man in Imo

Suspected hoodlums have shot a man identified as Fidelis Nnadi dead in Abba in Nwangele local government area of Imo State.

It was reported that Nnadi was gunned down on Wednesday by the gunmen along Okwelle- Umuezealaibe road.

Questions have been raised over the security challenges affecting the state with some pointing accusing fingers at members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra.

IPOB, however, has accused the state governor, Hope Uzodinma of being responsible for the killings in the state due to political reasons, an accusation the state government has stridently denied.

The group also claimed that an All Progressives Congress chieftain has plans to implicate IPOB through the killings.
