Dr. Abba Sayyadi Ruma, a former Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources during the administration of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, is dead.
Ruma, according to reports, died in a London hospital.
Confirming the passage of Ruma, his uncle and Danwairen Katsina, Alhaji Sada Salisu Ruma, said the late Sayyadi had battled diabetes for a long time before he eventually passed away Wednesday morning.
Born on March 13, 1962, the late Ruma was an influential minister during the Yar’Adua administration.
