The Federal High Court, Abuja has sacked 20 members of the Cross River State House of Assembly for dumping the Peoples Democratic Party and joining the All Progressive Congress.
The court presided over by Justice Taiwo Taiwo, delivered the judgment on Monday.
It ruled that the lawmakers needed to vacate their seats since they had abandoned the party which brought them to power.
He gave the judgment while ruling on a suit filed by the PDP and marked FHC/ABJ/CS/975/2021.
