The Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will on for Thursday meet over the lingering strike action by the academic union.
This was contained in a letter from the office of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, which was addressed to various stakeholders on Wednesday.
The letter dated May 11, and signed by C.C. Dike, Special Adviser (Technical) to the Labour Minister, Chris Ngige, said the meeting will be held at the banquet hall in the State House at 4 pm.
ASUU has since February been on strike over the failure of the government to fulfil the agreement with the union.
