The All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Thursday met with northern governors at Asokoro, Abuja.
It was gathered that the meeting is not unconnected with his plans to pick his running mate from the region.
About 11 governors, as well as the National Chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Adamu, it was learnt, attended the meeting.
Tinubu was on Wednesday declared as the winner of the APC presidential primary after securing 1,271 votes to defeat his closest rivals, ex-minister Rotimi Amaechi, who got 316 votes, and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who secured 235 votes.
