It was a Nigerian 1-3 finish in women’s F55-57 Shot Put final after Eucharia Iyiazi threw a new Commonwealth Games Record of 10.03m to win the Gold medal for Nigeria.
Her compatriot Ugochi Alam got the Bronze medal with a throw of 9.30m to move Nigeria up the medal table to seventh place.
Nigeria now has eight gold, three silver and seven bronze medals.
