Following the recent killing of his father and two other family members, musician Joel Amadi has mobilised some A-list artistes and Nollywood celebrities to campaign against the ongoing incessant killings in the Southern Kaduna area of Kaduna State.

These A-list celebrities, including Eedris Abdulkareem; veteran Nollywood actresses, Hilda Dokubo and Kate Henshaw; Ruggedman, Sound Sultan and Angela Okorie, among others, have lent their voice to the call on Kaduna State and Federal Governments to take urgent action to stop the wanton destruction of lives and property in Southern Kaduna.

Amadi’s father and two of his cousins were shot dead by suspected herdsmen in Zikpak Village, Kafanchan, Kaduna State, last month, in a violence that has since enveloped the whole of that part of Kaduna State.

As part of his campaign against the incessant killings in Southern Kaduna, Amadi, in a two-minute video, which he produced to draw attention to the violence in that part of the country, features the above-mentioned A-list celebrities and artistes.

In the short video clip, which is now trending on the various social media platforms, Kate Henshaw says emphatically, “The killings in Southern Kaduna must stop!”

Similarly, an OAP and actor, Yaw, who also features in the video clip, is shown saying, “I stand against the killings,” just as actress Ada Ameh also says in the same clip, “Make these killings in Southern Kaduna stop, make it stop now!”

Another actor, Charles Inojie, popularly known as Mr. Lucky in the popular sitcom, “Meet the Johnsons,” says in pidgin English in the same video, “Who bad pass…the killer abi those who siddon dey look?”
