Osun State governor-elect, Ademola Adeleke has been granted permission by the Election Tribunal in Osogbo to inspect the Independent National Electoral Commission materials.
The tribunal also permitted the PDP chieftain’s request to conduct a forensic audit of the BVAS machine.
The Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Tertsea Kume, granted Adeleke’s application to inspect and conduct a forensic audit of the BVAS machines.
Speaking with journalists, One of Adeleke’s Counsel, Mr Hashim Abioye said there was the need to conduct a thorough forensic audit of the BVAS machine used for the election.
Recall that the Tribunal had on August 22, granted to Governor Gboyega Oyetola and his All Progressives Congress party, permission to inspect materials used for the Osun State 2022 governorship electon.
ADELEKE won the election held on July 16, defeating incumbent Governor Oyetola and other.
Oyetola is challenging his list lost in court in a suit against Adeleke and INEC.
