The 2023 Appropriations Bill is now being presented to the state Assembly by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The governor defends the suggested budget for 2023 on Thursday in front of the Assembly.
Sanwo-Olu stated at the presentation that the new Blue Line and Red Line rails would start running in the first quarter of 2023.
Thousands of jobs will be created when the new rails went into operation, he said.
