Hobourable Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba has been reelected as member for Awe, Doma and Keana Federal Constituency in Nasarawa State under the All Progressives Congress.
Nalaraba defeated eight candidates from different political parties at the election that was conducted on February 25, 2023.
The Returning Officer Dr Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu said, “I hereby certify that I am the Returning Officer for the 2023 Awe, Doma and Keana Federal Constituency election held on the 25th day of February 2023 was contested and the candidates received the following votes.
“Agye Yusuf, ADC, 737, Nalaraba Abubakar Hassan APC 34,184, Suleiman Ibrahim Osajibo LP 1718, Othman Ahmed NNPP 1081, Mohammed Usman NRM 35, Bunu Yahaya Usman PDP 32,306, Ishaleku Joseph Danjuma PRP 50, Adara Abdullahi Are SDP 522, and Abdullahi Ibrahim Ogeyi ZLP 5,933.
“That Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba of APC having satisfied the requirements of the law is hereby declared winner and is returned elected.” He said.
The INEC 2023 Awe, Doma and Keana Federal constituency election declaration of result sheet Form EC 8E (II) with serial number 0000001 was made available to newsmen in Nasarawa State.
Honourable Nalaraba said after he was declared the winner said, ” I am thankful to INEC and the electorates for voting me for a second term consecutively.
” I will continue to strive toward the growth and development of my constituency, Nasarawa State and Nigeria in general. “
