The Esama of Benin, Sir, Chief (Dr) Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, has urged Nigerians to emulate the exemplary lifestyle of Jesus Christ as Christians mark Good Friday as an important event in Christendom.
In a statement, the Esama of Benin and honourary Romanian Consul to Edo and Delta States, His Excellency, Sir Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion CFR. said Good Friday is marked by Christians before Easter Sunday.
He advised Christians to emulate the sacrifices that will advance the course of humanity.
The Esama of Benin said Easter is a period of fresh beginning, forgiveness, love, and friendship.
He urged the affluent to reach out to the less privileged in the society
He also felicitated with Christians on the occasion of Easter celebration.
