Biafra non-negotiable, says IPOB leader, Kanu

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, says the struggle to Biafra a reality cannot be suppressed by any other force.

The IPOB leader, in a tweet posted by his lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, on Tuesday, stated that Biafra is non-negotiable.

He tweeted, “Personal Message from Mazi Nnamdi Kanu: “I deeply appreciate the abiding solidarity of the people of Biafra & the entire IPOB noble family against my continued illegal detention.

@I assure you all that our pursuit of self determination to its logical conclusion is non-negotiable.”

In 2021, Kanu was arrested in Kenya and despite an order by the Appeal Court for his release, Department of State Services in Abuja has kept him in its custody.

Federal Government has filed an appeal before the Supreme Court concerning its stand on the detained Biafran leader.

The IPOB leader was charged with treasonable felony, managing an unlawful society, and publication of defamatory matter, among others.
