Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed says his aim is to leave behind legacy projects that will stand the test of time in the state.

The Governor gave the assurance shortly after inspecting the ongoing construction of Governor’s office and other projects within the Government House.

Governor Mohammed who expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and materials used said his desire is to leave behind quality projects in the state that will be beneficial to the state.

He revealed that most of the materials used in the building are made in Bauchi to promote local production and all workers are youths from the state.

According to him, “various projects in the state have provided job opportunity to thousands of young people and other local producers”.

The Project Engineer, Ruben Okoye assured that the project which is 90 percent completed will be delivered soon for commissioning.

He assured that standard materials were used in the construction of the edifice.
