The families of Ayoade and Aderemi have announced the passing of their beloved matriarch, Princess Mojisola Adepate Ayoade (née Aderemi), who died on April 25, 2025, at the age of 94.
Born on October 22, 1930, Princess Ayoade lived a remarkable life marked by grace, resilience, and service to her family and community. Her children, grandchildren, and loved ones will honor her legacy in a two-day funeral celebration scheduled for August 8 and 9, 2025, in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
The program begins on Friday, August 8, at 5:00 p.m. with a Service of Songs and Wake Keep at Crystal Heritage Event Centre, Parakin Estate, Ile-Ife. The dress code for the event is white with royal blue gele and fila.
On Saturday, August 9, the Funeral Service will take place at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Iremo Road, Ile-Ife, starting at 10:00 a.m., followed by a private interment.

A Funeral Reception will be held at Ojaja Arena, Ife Grand Resort & Industrial Hub, KM 4, Ibadan Road, Ile-Ife, with the dress code being aso ebi with turquoise/lilac gele and fila.
