Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, on Monday said that God would decide his 2023 presidential ambition.
The governor is being speculated as among politicians aspiring to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
He spoke while hosting Arewa Youth Forum (AYF) led by Gambo Gunjungu in Lokoja.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed, quoted the governor saying:
“The discussions and events ahead of 2023 elections are in the hands of God to decide.
“The recent call on Nigerians, particularly the youth, to revalidate and register as members of the APC was an affirmation of the president’s good intentions.”
The governor advised the youths to take over the affairs of the country in the coming political dispensation.
