2023: Why Nigerians should reject APC, PDP, vote Labour party

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, Labour Party has described itself as the only option towards the positive change in Nigeria, which the citizens have been clamouring for.

Since the return of democracy in Nigeria in 1999, the seat of the presidency of the country has been occupied by the Peoples Democatic Party and the All Progressives Congress.

While the PDP held sway for 16 years, the APC, by the 2023 will be in power for eight years, yet the expectations of Nigerians who voted them into power are very far from being met by the two parties.

But Labour party, in a statement on Tuesday by its Directorate of Media, Office of the National Publicity Secretary, quoted the party’s National Chairman as giving reasons Nigerians should jettison the political parties that have failed and vote for the party in 2023.

According to the statement, the party chairman, addressing a press conference said, “Let us talk with each other in the grassroots language free of confusing statics but punchy in openly exposing the undeserved serial, recycled wicked, insensitive governments of political merchants and goliaths we have been cheaply and ignorantly by our carelessness been unintentionally allowing to secure our mandates to keep governing our nation very wrongly with the unintended consequences.

“Since the beginning as soon as Nigeria became a Nation, access to national wealth and economic opportunities have been deliberately and consciously cornered by a very negligible percentage of the Nigerian population who were highly visible, frighteningly powerful, deceitful and sinfully rich through very many webs of high wire political conspiracies.

“They have since then deliberately kept transferring power and economic opportunities to their political and biological descendants. This is exactly why Labour Party seeks your massive support in its bid to put an end to this unending political slavery now that Labour Party is set to become the vehicle for the desired deserved and wanted change in the shape and character of governance as fellow citizens for our mutual benefits.”

The party chairman went further to say that the Labour Party is “the most peaceful, the most persistent constructive critic of inadequacies of past governments up to the present.”

He added, As a responsible opposition, capable and competent political party, LP has for long and up to now put its all in helping to give directions as its contributions to improve governance across Nigeria.

“With the current acquired unequaled strength of experience of Labour Party, what can be more beneficial to all Nigerians than to completely reset their minds to vote for the Labour Party in 2023 to herald in a new Nigeria under Labour Party Government?

“It is a truth that the consequences and policies of the government directly touch all the emotions of Nigerians – loyalty, hope, love, hate and very many more that grow despair, criminal tendencies and depression in the people.

“Labour Party has for long fully researched the inadequacies of governments in Nigeria, past to the present and has come to boldly and confidently assure Nigerians that the needful capacity to efficiently and very adequately react to all of these shortfalls in governance are available far much more than any other political parties on offer in Nigeria.”
