After an agonizing 99 days on the sidelines due to injury, Bukayo Saka made a triumphant return to action for Arsenal, marking his comeback in sensational fashion.
The English winger needed just seven minutes to find the back of the net, guiding the Gunners to a 2-1 victory over Fulham at the Emirates on Tuesday night.
The first half saw Arsenal dominate possession and break the deadlock in the 37th minute.
It was a beautifully crafted goal, with Ethan Nwaneri delivering an exquisite assist to a well-positioned Martin Merino, who calmly slotted the ball home to put the Gunners 1-0 up at the break.

With the game still hanging in the balance, Saka came on as a substitute for Nwaneri in the 66th minute, much to the delight of the home crowd.
Just 7 minutes later, Saka, showing no signs of rust, rose to meet a well-placed cross and powered a header past the goalkeeper to double Arsenal’s lead in the 73rd minute.
The match finished with Arsenal comfortably seeing out the 2-1 scoreline, as Rodrigo Muniz scored a late goal for Fulham in the 90+4 minute. marking a brilliant return for Saka and another three points in their pursuit of glory.
Fans will now be hoping to see another good performance against Madrid in seven days’ time in the UCL.
