Controversial street-hop singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has called out Grammy-winning Afrofusion star, Burna Boy, for allegedly ignoring his messages despite gifting him a whopping N20 million.
Portable made the revelation over the weekend in a video shared via Instagram, where he celebrated the cash reward he received from Burna Boy after winning a celebrity boxing match against fellow artist Speed Darlington. However, he said the financial gesture wasn’t enough and pleaded for a music collaboration instead.
“Shout out to Burna Boy. He gingered my brain with that N20 million, but he hasn’t replied to my messages, he doesn’t pick my calls, and he doesn’t follow me on Instagram,” Portable lamented.
The Zazuu Zeh crooner argued that while he’s grateful for the monetary support, a feature with Burna Boy would be far more valuable to his career.

“He gave me money, but money can finish. A feature with Burna Boy will go viral. I want a hit, not just a dash,” he said.
Known for his eccentric and unapologetic style, Portable has made headlines over time for his public appeals to industry giants. This latest callout adds to the singer’s growing list of unconventional tactics to secure collaborations and maintain relevance in Nigeria’s highly competitive music scene.
As of the time of this report, Burna Boy has not publicly responded to Portable’s comments.
