Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has given the green light for the formation of the Interim Management Board for the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) Golf Club.
This announcement came in a brief statement issued on 26th of April, 2025, by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka.

At the helm of the new board is Dr. Peter Deshi, with Barrister Yomi Oyelola stepping into the role of Secretary. Other key members appointed to the board include Otunba Gbengba Elegbeleye, Arc. Nanwor Mamven, Mrs. Ekanem Ekwueme, Arc. Arabi Bello, Lawan Aboki, Okey Nnaedozie, Fred Otobo, and Julius Fadairo.
The appointed board members are expected to begin their duties immediately, with the FCT Minister offering his congratulations and urging them to work diligently toward revitalizing the IBB Golf Club.
