The Nerazzurri started in dominant fashion, racing to a 2-0 lead in the first half. Lautaro MartÃnez opened the scoring with a composed finish, followed by a coolly converted penalty from Hakan ÇalhanoÄŸlu in the 45+1st minute, giving Inter a solid cushion at the break.
Barcelona, however, came roaring back. E. GarcÃa halved the deficit in the 54th minute, and Dani Olmo’s strike in the 60th brought the visitors level.
Rafinha’s 87th-minute goal seemed to have sealed a remarkable comeback for the Catalan side, putting them ahead 3-2 and silencing the home crowd.
But Inter weren’t done yet.

With seconds remaining, Francesco Acerbi rose highest to nod home an equalizer in stoppage time (90+3), sending the tie into extra time with the aggregate hanging in the balance.
The decisive moment came in the 99th minute when Davide Frattesi slotted home what would be the winning goal, sparking wild celebrations among the Inter faithful, as the game ended 4:3 on the night and 7:6 on aggregate.
With the victory, Inter Milan now advanced to the Champions League final, continuing their quest for European glory.
