Tension gripped attendees at the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders’ meeting on Wednesday when Kolade Alabi, Chairman of Bariga Local Government and Lagos State ALGON Chairman, suddenly collapsed while addressing the gathering.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:10 PM at the APC Secretariat in Acme, Lagos, causing pandemonium as party members rushed to assist the ailing chairman. Alabi was quickly revived and subsequently transported to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
Details regarding the cause of the sudden collapse remain unclear, but party officials have assured that Alabi is receiving adequate medical care.

Eyewitnesses described the moment as alarming, with some expressing concern about the chairman’s health.
