Gunmen have abducted three members of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, popularly known as Deeper Life Bible Church, in the Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The incident occurred on Monday evening as the victims were returning from a Bible study session at the Kasemola area in Ogbese community, according to a church member who spoke to journalists under the condition of anonymity.
“Three of our members were kidnapped after Bible study at Kasemola area, in Ogbese,” the source disclosed.

In response to the abduction, the church leadership has mobilized prayer warriors to intercede for the safe release of the victims. “We have reported the incident to the police and Amotekun Corps in the state,” the source added.
The spokesperson for the Ondo State Police Command, Ayanlade Olayinka, confirmed the incident, stating that law enforcement agencies are actively working to secure the release of the abducted individuals.
“Three church members were abducted,” Olayinka said, adding that police officers have begun combing nearby forests in a coordinated search operation.
