Panic gripped commuters on Monday after a serious accident involving a Toyota Camry and a commercial “Danfo” bus on the 3rd Mainland Bridge, just before Adekunle Junction, inward Lagos.
Eyewitnesses said the commercial bus somersaulted multiple times, leaving several passengers seriously injured.
Emergency response teams, including RRS bikers and patrol vehicles, were quickly deployed to the scene.
According to officials, “RRS bikers and patrol vehicles are assisting in giving first aid to the injured passengers, while men of the Adekunle Police Division are equally on ground, and are providing rescue support.”

Emergency service providers were also mobilised to manage the situation and attend to victims.
Despite the severity of the crash, authorities confirmed there was no loss of life in the unfortunate incident.
Thanks to swift response efforts, the wrecked vehicles have been cleared, and free flow of vehicular movement has been restored along the bridge.
