Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC) have arrested one Ope Adeniran for publicly defecating on the Oba Akran Bridge in the Ikeja axis of the state.
This was disclosed in a post by the Lagos Commissioner, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, and shared on his X handle on Wednesday.
According to him, Adeniran will be prosecuted in accordance with the relevant environmental laws of Lagos State.

The post read, “Ope Adeniran was apprehended this morning by operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, while defecating on Oba Akran Bridge, Ikeja.
“He will be prosecuted in accordance with the relevant law of the state.”
