Residents and businesses under the Ikeja Electric network are set to experience intermittent power supply from Monday, July 28 to Thursday, August 21, 2025, due to scheduled maintenance by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).
In a public notice issued on July 25, Ikeja Electric stated that the maintenance will affect the Omotosho–Ikeja West 330kV transmission line, with outages expected between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily throughout the period.
“During this period, customers may experience intermittent power supply and load shedding across our network due to the planned TCN outage,” the company said in its statement.

The electricity distribution company expressed regret over the expected inconvenience and urged customers to plan accordingly.
This planned maintenance comes as part of efforts to improve transmission reliability, but it is expected to temporarily disrupt electricity distribution across several areas serviced by the Ikeja Electric network.
Management has assured the public of its commitment to restoring regular service as soon as the work is completed.
