Nigerian music executive and talent manager, Soso Soberekon, has stirred the internet with a bold offer: ₦120 million for a celebrity boxing match between controversial singer Portable and outspoken social media critic, VeryDarkMan.
Soberekon made the announcement on Sunday, July 27, 2025, via Instagram, amid the heated online feud between the two personalities.
According to him, the proposed fight will settle their long-running war of words. He revealed that the winner would walk away with ₦100 million, while the loser would still bag ₦20 million.

Sharing the official proposal, Soberekon wrote:

No more talk! Let’s turn this online cruise into real-life bruises!
PORTABLE vs VERYDARKMAN. Two mouths, one ring. Who go survive?
I’m putting ₦120 MILLION on this wahala:
Winner – ₦100 MILLION
Loser – ₦20 MILLION (Yes, even the beaten man goes home smiling).
VENUE: KFT Event Center, Warri, Delta State.
Talk no dey finish, sign the dotted line and enter ring if body dey tell una.”
This isn’t Soberekon’s first attempt at staging a celebrity fight. In April, he pledged ₦20 million to bankroll a rematch between Portable and Speed Darlington.
