Despite a highly competitive global field, the Super Falcons continue to lead African football, staying well ahead of continental rivals like South Africa, Morocco, and Cameroon.
Their latest placement reflects the team’s consistency and growing international reputation, especially after strong performances in recent friendlies and qualifying matches.
Reacting to the update, head coach Randy Waldrum said, “We’re proud to be leading Africa again. Ranking 36th globally shows progress, but we know we can push even higher with hard work and continued support.”
With Olympic qualifiers and the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on the horizon, the Falcons are aiming not only to maintain their African supremacy but also to break into the top 30 globally in future rankings.
