Popular Guyanese social media personality, Lola Doll, is fighting for her life after being shot multiple times outside her home in Georgetown on Saturday night.
Police confirmed on Sunday that the 33-year-old, whose real name is Lolita Callender, was ambushed around 11:35 p.m. at her residence in Texas Square, East Ruimveldt.
According to a statement from the Guyana Police Force (GPF), Callender was seated in her car when a man on a motorcycle pulled up and opened fire, striking her in the neck, face, hands, and right leg.
“She is presently receiving treatment at the Georgetown Public Hospital, where she remains in critical condition,” the GPF disclosed.

Investigators say they are reviewing CCTV footage and working to identify and apprehend the suspect. Authorities have also appealed to members of the public to assist with information that could aid the probe.
“The Guyana Police Force is urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has knowledge about it to come forward. Reports can also be made anonymously through 911 or at the nearest police station,” the statement read.
The shocking attack has left fans and residents in shock, as many await updates on her condition.
