Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Erica Nlewedim, has shared her harrowing experience during the recent flooding in Lekki, Lagos State.
In a post on her Twitter handle in the early hours of Wednesday, the actress and reality TV star recounted how floodwaters engulfed her car while she was driving, leaving her stranded.
“I almost cried today! Flood was so high water entered my car as I was driving, then when I got to my destination my car refused to turn on again and later when it was fixed I spent hours in traffic and got a flat tire!” she wrote.
Her remarks come amid growing concerns over perennial flooding in Lekki, which has continued to disrupt residents’ lives and damage property during the rainy season.
