Two teenage boys have reportedly drowned in the Konduga River while on a fishing expedition in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.
This is disclosed in a statement by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, on Monday.
It was gathered that the victims Abba Modu, aged 15, of Mainari Ward, and Abdullahi Mala Hassan, aged 13, of Duwari Ward went fishing at the river but drowned in the process.
The bodies were however, sighted floating in the river which enabled local divers to recovered the corpses.

The bodies were taken to the General Hospital, Konduga, where a medical doctor certified them dead with no marks of violence found.
The remains of the deceased were later released to their families for burial according to Islamic rites.
