The young Albiceleste wasted no time asserting control, opening the scoring in the 2nd minute through Alejo Sarco, who capitalized on a defensive lapse to put Argentina ahead early.
Midfielder Maher Carrizo doubled the lead in the 23rd minute with a well-placed strike from outside the box before completing his brace shortly after halftime in the 53rd minute, effectively ending any hopes of a Nigerian comeback.
Mateo Silvetti added a fourth goal in the 66th minute to seal an emphatic victory for Argentina, who now progress to the next round of the tournament.
