Nigerian actress and entrepreneur, Ifuennada, has revealed that she has been battling severe health and spiritual challenges over the past year and a half, including amnesia, mental breakdown, and what she described as “intense spiritual battles.”
In a heartfelt post shared on her Instagram page on Saturday, the reality TV star recounted how she faced near-death experiences and a period of memory loss that left her unable to recognize herself or her loved ones.
“Over the past one and a half years, I’ve faced death, amnesia, severe mental breakdown, and intense spiritual battles that shook my existence, but Jesus saved me from them all,” she wrote.
Ifuennada narrated that the most recent episode occurred on July 23, 2025—her birthday—when she suddenly lost her memory without warning. “I woke up with no memory of who I was. It felt like I was on a strange planet where I had no past, knew no one, and had no purpose,” she revealed.
According to her, the episode followed a period of illness she described as a “spiritual attack.” Despite her struggles, she credited her faith and her mother’s constant prayers for her recovery.
“My mother, a prayer warrior, was privy to the spiritual attacks I was experiencing. She was always praying for me and got me medical help,” the actress explained.

Ifuennada added that although she was depressed at some points, she did not lose hope or her faith in God. She recalled that even during her memory loss, she still remembered “Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God.”
The actress said she eventually regained her identity and strength through prayer, quoting scriptures from Hebrews 11:1, John 16:33, and Psalms 91 and 35, which she said helped her endure the ordeal.
Ifuennada, who rose to fame after participating in Big Brother Naija, hinted that her experiences could form the basis of a powerful film script, describing her journey as something “straight out of a blockbuster movie.”
