Businessman and philanthropist Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has donated ₦20 million to Nollywood actress Sarah Martins following her recent confrontation with officials of the Lagos State Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) task force in Lekki.
Martins, who was harassed on Thursday, October 16, 2025, while cooking food for the homeless on a road median in Lekki Phase 1, shared a video of the cash donation on her Instagram page on Friday, October 17, 2025.
In the video, the actress expressed deep gratitude to Seyi Tinubu, describing the gesture as a divine turnaround. She captioned the post:
“From disgrace to grace! From the office of the President, our philanthropic youth leader, Mr. Seyi Tinubu, just supported my NGO with ₦20,000,000. Nigerians, please help me say thank you to him. He didn’t only give me ₦20,000,000 but also promised to take my free food charity outreach to the next level.”
Martins also thanked Dr. Bea, whom she described as a friend in deed for supporting her throughout the incident.

The actress, founder of the Golden Heart Foundation, had earlier been seen in a viral video arguing with KAI officers who seized her cooking equipment during a charity event aimed at feeding the less privileged. She claimed her hand was burnt in the process.
The Lagos State government later defended the task force’s action, stating that the actress violated environmental laws by setting up a cooking station on a public median.
Seyi Tinubu’s donation has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians praising his intervention while others call for better protection of charitable activities in Lagos.
