Chioma Ifemeludike, the African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate in Anambra State’s November 8 election, has declared herself a winner, despite officially receiving just 292 votes.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) the winner with 422,664 votes, while Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) secured 99,445 votes to place second.
Addressing her supporters on X on Sunday, November 9, Ifemeludike said, “Integrity stands firm and higher than political deception. I’m a winner!”

The candidate, who drew attention during her campaign for her unconventional photos and videos, expressed satisfaction with how the election was conducted, noting the absence of malpractice in her polling areas.
