Akpabio: Nigeria Must Win Insecurity War

The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, made a powerful declaration on Wednesday, the 3rd of December, 2025, asserting that Nigeria must prevail in its ongoing war against insecurity.

He made these resolute remarks during the ministerial screening session for the former Chief of Defence Staff, Christopher Musa, who is being considered for the position of Defence Minister.

Akpabio drew a strong parallel between the nation’s security challenges and the global fight against the pandemic, expressing his belief that success is achievable.

He firmly stated: “If God can assist the world to win the war against COVID then we can win the war against insecurity, we shall win the war against insecurity.”
